Liberals Dig Their Claws Into Another Dead Victim

We all know of the hate-crimes bill that Democrats in Congress are trying to get the President to sign.

What we don’t know is what this means for justice.  When one digs into the guts of it a little, we see that if a crime is committed against someone because of their race or sexual preference, the consequence is then amplified by the suggested measure in the bill.  For example, the murder of Matthew Shephard would have gotten the criminals ten extra years in prison than of criminals who acted out the same crime against a woman (which happens a lot in this country by the way.)

It also means that a rape of a gay man would carry out larger consequences that the rape of a straight woman.

Also, I am to understand that Christian ministers who cite the Bible on any issue could be grounds for criminal charges as well (particiularly if it denounces homosexuality).  I’d say we have found the true motive here.

Someone can please shed more light on this for me if they’d like.  But this is incredibly ridiculous.  Crime is crime and the best way to deal with criminals and to discourage their behavior is indeed by electing conservatives so that conservative judges are put on the bench.

Sadly an 18-year old committed suicide last week by jumping off of a cruise ship just one year after he was beaten and sodomized.  During the course of the year, the victim was used by Democrats on Capitol Hill to add a personal tragedy to the story to get the President to sign a bill that was ridiculous.

I don’t suppose that some people – especially youngsters like David - are entitled to the ample amount of privacy needed to get through such a horrible ordeal.  Democrats with agendas didn’t care about David’s healing process and used him as they do with every other victim to browbeat common sense.

Now, they aren’t too interested in letting his family personally grieve.  Just days after his death, Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D) was already using his death to promote a preposterous Bill that will; in the end, change nothing but the alteration of free speech of Christian ministers who read and interpret from the book of Leviticus.

The animals responsible for the beating of David Ritcheson are serving sentences currently.  One is serving life and the other is serving 90 years.

Because they shouted “white power” during the attack, Sheila Jackson-Lee wants to pass a bill that would have added ten years onto those sentences?

How ridiculous.  Once again the Democrats are shaming a victim of a horrible crime so that they can prove some useless point.  It just so happens that it would make it a bit more tough to surveil terrorists and for minsters to exercise their rights to free speech.

Talk about a weird coincidence.

If Sheila Jackson-Lee wants real justice for crimes then she should consider converting to the party that actually believes in delivering true justice for victims of crimes.  The party she belongs to is certainly not the one we can rely on to do that.

My Response to a Liberal-9/11 Conspiracy Theorist

I wish liberals could be more regular in their rants.  One moment we hear that the majority of the people are on their side when it comes to the war and the USA’s dealings with its enemies.  Then the next minute, they miraculously switch positions and claim insane things like the MSM being conservative and Republican-controlled (LOL) and that something is wrong with America because everyone has been brainwashed.  Can we please get one liberal to actually stick to a position?  In any case, in a debate forum I encountered this following “argument” from a liberal:

You don’t wanna know what I think about this bullshit war, and the brain washing of the general populace. You would be outraged by what I’d have to say about the blatant subjugation of freedom known as the Patriot Act. You would be terrified by my thoughts on al-queda and its role within your beloved republican party. Do not follow the white rabbit, or you’ll be in for the trip of your life.

After reading this I became frustrated, sat back, and thought for a minute just how one liberal argument never seems to correlate with the others.  One group claims that the war is unpopular.  The next one claims that we are being brainwashed.  The only thing in fact that they seem to have in common is their utter hate for America.  The following is my response:

Right, that awful Patriot Act and those horrible programs like the surveillance that stopped blowing up the Brooklyn Bridge, the Sears Tower, Fort Dix, and JFK Airport. Who needs those landmarks anyway? And maybe we have too many innocent Americans running around to care, right?

We see that London has actual immigrant-doctors moving into town that also vowed to take the fight into the United States as well.

Maybe you’ll develop a liking for the Bush policies that have protected you if people like you stop the Patriot Act and car bombs start going off in your neighborhood.

Were the London plots and the intentions of all those Muslim doctors just another ploy by the Bush administration to scare us? Do you really think Jihadists want to be your friend if you’re nice to them?

We’re not talking about white bunny rabbits here. We’re talking about the protection of 300 million innocent people that reside in this country along with the countless billions residing on the rest of the planet that fall under the threats of Islamification.

Brain washing of the general populace? Well, the last time I checked the war was unpopular and 76 percent of the country were against it (according to phony news polls by CBS and Newsweek). Why don’t you be a good liberal and tell me how the entire country is on your side with this?

Or better yet, blame 9/11 on your country and let’s get through this conversation a lot faster.

Until then, you might want to develop arguments that contain facts and originality.

The only thing I regret about the Patriot Act is it doesn’t take dangerous individuals like yourself and Rosie O’Donnell into consideration when thinking about some of the people that are allowed to run free and use their right to free speech.

If the Patriot Act was THAT BAD, you would have been rounded up a long time ago.

Mass. Attorney Sues Over Gay Marriage Question

Okay, my ears are always out ready to defend Christians.  But this one just doesn’t make sense to me.

In Boston, Massachusetts – a man is suing for $9.75 million because he failed the state bar exam.  Why did he fail the state bar exam?  Because he refused to answer a question regarding gay-marriage claiming that it was offensive to his morals.

What’s morals got to do with being a lawyer?  Okay, that was a bad joke.  But seriously, it perplexes me why a man would take the bar or choose to practice law in a state that ruled gay marriage to be a constitutional right?  Then he turns around and wants the state to pay him $9.75 million for being stupid?  Huh!?

This doesn’t look too good for Christians - especially since he will be invoking Christianity into the argument.  THIS is going to give liberals the power to denounce Christians and Republicans (the same thing that others claim Ann Coulter does whenever she makes a comment.).

Now, I firmly disagree with Massachusetts’ courts ruling pro-gay marriage from the bench.  As we all know, it’s a people issue.  It’s not a constitutional right and whenever judges try to force something onto the people, they react.

This man in my opinion is an opportunist.  He will be using the suit to also challenge the constitutionality of gay marriage in Massachusetts which is fine with me.  However; he should not be paid $9.75 million after he made the conscience choice to practice law and to take the bar in a state that had already declared gay-marriage to be a right.

It’s okay to challenge laws that we disagree with but as an attorney for any state one has to realize that their job is to recognize the written laws in their states.  By not acknowledging the law in his state, how can the board be required to just give him a license?

That would be like a Doctor refusing to treat a homosexual because he disagrees with their lifestyle.  That would be like me refusing to answer a question on the CPA exam because I might disagree with a regulation set forth by GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or by SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.)  Whatever our profession is, we can agree or disagree with certain laws.  But if we are going to practice those professions, we have to follow the procedures.

I don’t buy that this guy (Stephen Dunne); a man who was educated enough to take the bar, didn’t understand this.  This is pure opportunism and a chance to make $9.75 million off the taxpayers of Massachusetts.

This man deserves to be embarrassed and humiliated and this is going to do a lot of harm to good Christians who do not take the law into their own hands.

The one day I miss Kevin’s postings on Queer Conservative, too!  Apparently, him and I take notice of the same headlines.  I picked it up from the Chicago Tribune over coffee yesterday and wrote my rant about it.  See Kevin’s take as well.

Gay Pride: Freak For a Day

prideflag.jpg

Over the last few years, I have refused to attend the annual gay pride parades here in Chicago.  I used to attend a few years back.

For me, it was a day to have a few drinks, celebrate with friends, and ultimately have a good time.

Lately; however, it has changed for me.  The focus of gay pride used to be the celebration of individuals who are proud to be gay and exemplify behaviors to show our fellow Americans that we – just like everyone else – are hardworking citizens who are here to stay.   From the current displays of gay pride, we now see that it focuses more on the right to parade up and down the streets in chaps, various pieces of leather, and to display our rights to vulgarly make out with various individuals in the middle of the street in front of others.

Also, various straight groups into S&M, swinging, etc. are coming out more each year to use the day of gay pride to celebrate their own freakish fetishes.  What do these have to do with gay pride?  And is our community so pathetic that we cannot be choosy about how our day of commemeration is being exploited by other groups like this?

Other unapproved-of groups include NAMBLA and Democratic politicians.

Let one Christian show up though to talk to the community about God and let’s see who the gay elites will have the problem with.

In an article written yesterday, St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko says:

“When  it  comes to the protection of people’s rights and freedoms,
including  those  of  sexual  minorities,  this should be within a legal
framework.  Demonstrating  such delicate and intimate things and staging
provocative  actions  seems  wrong to me”

As I have said before, it is the kind of people we choose to hang out with and the way we present ourselves that are amplifying the segregation factor that already plagues us as a community.
