Lauer’s Early-Morning Bias (Is There Any Wonder Liberals Cry About Fox?)

What an excellent interview!  Not only does Matt Lauer learn the hard way what happens when you piss off a Texan, but he continues to make the point of his guests over and over again.

Morning TV is biased for the left.  We know that.  The best interviews come from the Today Show of course when Matt Lauer attempts to exchange serious repartee with a great politician (who still hasn’t been convicted of anything — for my site-partner and for some of my Texan readers like Jennifer, I’d be pretty pissed at the fact that Ronnie Earle has squandered this kind of taxpayer money on a pointless case like this) like Tom Delay.

Also, let’s not forget the CLASSIC catfight between Ann Coulter and Katie Couric in 2002 when Couric did everything she could from leaping out of her chair as Coulter continued to point out the obvious bias of the Today Show.

Here, Lauer begins his interview by rattling off Republican scandals.  Tom Delay then “politely” reminds him of the some of the scandals existing on the Democrat side of the fence such as:

–William Jefferson

–Gerry Studds

–Barney Frank

And then I would like to name a few more:

–Bill Clinton

–Teddy Kennedy

–the rest of the Kennedys

I think you get the point.  So okay the Republicans had Foley, we had Libby, Abramoff, and now of course Larry Craig.  Different crimes, different degrees.  What happens to them?  They resign!

Can anyone name one Democrat above that has not been re-elected time and time again by their base?  Can anyone name one Democrat above obsessed about by the Today Show?

If Democrats and Republicans could get together and at least agree that rotten behavior is rotten and should not be tolerated within Congress or the Executive Branch, we could move on so much faster.

Republicans have always been and always will be the party of values and responsible behavior.  Matt Lauer tries to persuade viewers to believe otherwise in his opening statement.

There will always be scandals.  But there will always be one party — AND ONE PARTY ONLY — that deals with them.  Let’s face it, we will always have fun with one another.  But one thing the Democrats can never say is that they would not disassociate themselves with a corrupt politician.  Just look at who their headlining candidate is for 2008!

Regardless what the whining Dems continue to blather on about, Fox News always allows both sides to be heard.  Just recently, O’Reilly and Chris Dodd had an explosive debate about the Daily Kos.  Hannity and Colmes exemplifies this over and over again as well.

Unlike MSNBC or any of the networks, right-winged retort is allowed and embraced on Fox just as it is on the internet and talk radio.

Liberals are so used to Lauer and other network liberals like Dan Rather “reporting” the news that a full Republican response to them makes the entire program tainted.

Hats off to Tom Delay and others like Ann Coulter that step onto the Today Show and remind liberals (even if it’s just for a few minutes) why Fox News is the most watched network by liberals still trying muster up a coherent response.
