Reagan, Gorbachev, and when Whitney Had Class…

I have a guilty pleasure.  I LOVE Whitney Houston.  I’m happy she finally left Bobby Brown and hope she returns to the classy woman she once was.  Forget Mariah, Barbra, anyone else — I think Whitney has absolutely the best voice ever recorded.

Moving on, this was a classic interview and I remember this as a kid.  Reagan was president and there was still an element of class and respect that graced us as a human race.

So much has changed since then…this “gentlemen” in the video with Whitney gives her a vulgar invite.  He proceeds it by saying “you’re not Reagan, I’m not Gorbachev.”

Ahh the good old days.   Can we please have Whitney’s class back?

Can we please have Reagan back?

  1. Brian P,

Today, Whitney would have broke his fingers the minute he touched her face and then picked up her chair and tossed it at him. :-P

  2. Devil Dog,

    Baaaawwwwbbbyyyyy!

    Get that sucker!

Yes, agree. I think she has the best voice ever recorded.

Her singing of the National Anthem in 1991 while I was in Saudi Arabia was phenominal (sic).
