The End is Near (For Ron Paul)

And thank God.  Paul and his supporters are just downright frightening.

His supporters on YouTube are so desperate that they are posting videos of him attempting to challenge Condoleezza Rice and proclaiming him the winner after it is so clear in this video that Paul got his clocked officially cleaned out with facts by Rice.

Paul’s conclusion at the end of the day?  Of course — America should stick its neck in the sand as Carter did in 1979 that gave Islamic crazies their first strong foothold.

Thank God, this is a modern ideology that hasn’t moved past the popularity of the 9/11 Truthers Movement.

  1. Cawdor,

“America should stick its neck in the sand as Carter did in 1979 that gave Islamic crazies their first strong foothold.”

Actually we created those crazies in 1953 then had to deal with the blowback of imperialistic and illegal manipulation of external governments

Iraq – We paid Saddam to kill Iranians with chemical weapons

Panama – we killed 3000+ Panamanians to rewove a CIA operative who was President of that county

Afghanistan – we supplied the logistics and training to Bin Laden becuase we wanted them to fight the Russians.

And the list goes on and on .. with Pakistan the next fine example of the faulty policy you are espousing.

When we meddle in other countries affairs, it does not make us stronger, history shows us in our illegal empire all the way back to the Romans, we only make ourselves more and more vulnerable; militarily, economoically, and diplomatically

  2. Jack,

We’ll talk to Iran IF they admit they are guilty to a charge we have not even proven is true. So, if they truly are not trying to build a nuclear weapon and keep saying they are not, then we won’t talk to them and will instead attack them. Hmm… this reminds me of the witch trials here in America and the justice system in Iran itself.

And I do note that Rice simply regurgitated talking points, talking AROUND Ron Paul. He pre-empted EXACTLY what she was going to say and she couldn’t come out of character.

Am I the only one that remembers the trials over the PDB that went to Bush about Al Qaeda being determined to strike? The one she insisted didn’t happen even while she was holding the document in her hands? She is an employee of the administration that is being accused. Duh!

Even Powell tells us now that the books were cooked.

Yeah, she sure showed Ron Paul. You should stick to things you know something about, like fudge-packing.

  3. Steve,

    Thanks Jack,

Spoken like someone with the mentality of the average Ron Paul supporter. Do I detect a little frustration?

Tell me, since you know so much — let’s assume those PDB’s went on to tell Condi and George EVERYTHING about 9/11. What could George Bush have done? Thrown Arabs out of the country, allowed for deeper racial profiling at airports? It seems all the precious liberties that Ron Paul supporters and 9/11 truthers alike cry about, we would have violated.

So tell us — what would you have supported Bush doing BEFORE 9/11 that you won’t support after 9/11?

Are you against the Patriot Act?

Are you against the NSA listening to cell phone conversations of suspected terrorists?

Do you want to shut down Guantanamo?

Not one of Bush’s anti-war policies make crazies like you happy because at the end of the day, your head is so far up your own ass packing your own fudge that seeing the light of day in the scope of common sense is well beyond your reach.

And Cawdor is one that seems to believe that Islamic crazies were born when the US began “intervening.” If there was a true “intervener” it would have been France back in the earlier part of the decade. It was the British and the Americans that had to moderate the intial mess created by France.

So stage a protest, stop driving your cars, stop filling up with gas that comes from the oil. Be like Al-Queda who has been able to fully illustrate their hate of America beyond the confines of their caves thanks to Jimmy Carter in 1979 and carry the scope of your hate beyond your trailer parks.

It’s crazy to pretend that leaving extremists alone will make them like you. It’s crazy to think that America created monsters that slaughter infidels who refuse to conform to their religion. It’s even crazier to expect 300 million Americans to be that stupid. That’s why Ron Paul and his lunacy are on their way out.

But selling the idea; Jack, that you would have supported Bush doing anything before 9/11 that you bitch about him doing after 9/11 is preposterous.

    At least lie cleverly.

  4. Devil Dog,

Well, we know Jack supports Iran having a nuclear weapon.

    Anyone else?

  5. Condi owned his ass lol.

Either way I wouldn’t mind having a Ron Paulian president.

Don’t get me wrong, there are few delights in the world that can equate to waking to the smell of burning terrorist flesh. But for once in our life time we should be the hero by NOT being the hero.

Lets face it, in a decade or two if a Ron Paulian president is elected and we abandon the world and withdraw from the U.N., NATO and others then WWIII will be started and they will yearn for the salvation only we can give.

Only then will the ungrateful bastards know how important we are.

Too bad Ron Paul’s legion of insane trailing zombies are too kooky to be liked or rather for me to consider myself one.

  6. Devil Dog,

So, Cowder, do you support the quick-as-possible notion that the troops should leave Iraq, now that the surge is working?

That my friend would have been a mistake at the Battle of the Bulge, the Invasion of Sicily, the Invasion of Normandy, Korea, Vietnam (big mistake by the Dems) and WWI, to put timetables on wars.

I would also like to know who says there are timetables on wars and what, by chance, is that time frame? Is it in Gore’s lock box? Is it in a drawer at the Secretary of State’s office? By chance, Cowder, are you the holder of the famous piece of paper that tells us the time frame for all American wars?

Roosevelt would kick you in the chest, Churchill would give you a kick to the groin, and Stalin, well, he would have just put you out of your misery.

You know Stalin’s history, don’t you? I don’t necessarily think he was on a time schedule.

  7. Steve,

Devil Dog you always have a nice assertive dose of the facts. I love it!

Sam, I like all of Paul’s stands on social issues like abortion. Which by the way, makes me leary of others who are for abortion and against war supporting him….

Is there stand for abortion all that serious?

  8. Philip,

It’s kinda quiet around here now. Where did the Ron Paul whackos go? It was starting to get interesting.

  9. Devil Dog,

I’ll tell you, McCain really put Paul and his disciples to task during the YouTube debate?

Does anyone feel as I do that the YouTube debate really is a demeaning way for people to get to know who might be their next President?

With people so concerned about “what the rest of the world will think”, don’t the YouTube debates really portray a less-than-concerned attitude about how our representative Republic works?

  10. Jack,

Yep. She really “owned his ass.”

    http://apnews.excite.com/article/20071204/D8TAD9000.html

And McCain blames Americans for the Holocaust at the debate? And you think that is a good thing?

You got more problems than being a homo in the Republican party, my friend.

As I told you before, stick to what you know: pole smoking.

  11. Steve,

Your article; Jack, mentions the following:

“Tehran’s decision to halt its nuclear weapons program suggests it is less determined to develop nuclear weapons than we have been judging since 2005,” says the unclassified summary of the secret report.

Unclassified summary of the secret report”

See what Condi was referring to in her rebuttal to Ron “hysterial-for-votes” Paul was enrichment which she acknowleged could be used for peaceful reasons but moved onto say that with all of the information given to them and to the REST of the international community by the IAEA suggests something different. The resolution against Iran was 15-0. So Paul’s idea (crock) that suggests this is an America-war-hungry mission to go to war is absolutely absurd in and of itself.

Moving forward; what we personally believe Iran is up to may differ. But my side wants to take the steps required to ensure that your city doesn’t get blown off the map someday.

Your side wants us to bend over with our necks buried in the ground with this idiotic notion that somehow Iran wants to be friends, they won’t harm us if we turn away. Sorry, there are 299,999,998 other American lives at risk here other than the value of life preserved by you and other whack-jobs like Ron Paul.

Something tells me that something other than a pole has been smoked on your end. Have your head checked.

  12. kanattas,

Ron Paul takes the rule of law/highest law of the land/US Constitution much more seriously than any other candidate. That’s why he is the right man for the job. He is the only whose record shows that he would abide by the oath of office: “… will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He is therefore the only candidate qualified to be president.

Ask yourselves How important is the rule of law and would you want to live under any other form of government?

If the national government had obeyed the (Tenth Amendnment to) the Us Constitution, we would be much freer today. It’s time to mae the national government obey the Constitution (and amend it legally if changes are necessary.) It should not be too much to expect for ones’ own government to obey the law.

  13. I’d say he used his head for a mop and his butt for a broom. Go Condi!
