The idea that an Arab man; who was suspected to have explosives in a shed the day after 9/11, was still allowed to stay in this country makes my stomach hurt.

He got to go on about his life, fly planes, eat in restaurants, blend in public….potentially putting Americans at risk when in essence, he SHOULD have been detained until the investigation was completed.

But not our pure American government, NEVER.

He got to do everything he did before the investigation began.

Liberals like this really do make the case for the Patriot Act and as I said, it appears to me in his case specifically that the Patriot Act isn’t tough enough.

And no he’s a “victim” trying to cash in.

I’d want it invetigated to satisfy the authorities that the accusation was in error, especially if I had a natural identity that raised concerns (ethnic characteristic being an unintended consequence).
It seems the FBI did that.
I’d use what PR points there was to play to demonstrate what a cooperative person I was, rather than a provocateur.

I really can’t.

I lost my cell phone last week. AT&T said that a new SIM card would cost me 25$. I figured that since I lost my own darn phone, it made sense that I would pay the SIM card fee.

I’m not claiming to be a victim of big corporations! I’m not a victim of anything, the mere thought makes me want to puke!

And yet… This guy sure seems to protest too much, doesn’t he? I’m sure he’s just a whiner by nature, but when someone protests THAT much I wonder what they’re trying to cover up.

I mean, really. He thinks he has problems? He oughta be introduced to Richard Jewel at a seance. Jewel went through far worse – and he came under suspicion while being a GOOD guy. I don’t recall hearing this much whininess from him, though.
