There are a few other popular myths out there, some espoused by Loose Change, others pushed by different sources (like 9/11 In Plane Sight and Alex Jones, the wacknut conspiracy theorist who also thinks we didn’t land on the moon). Among them are:
None of the 9/11 hijackers were competent enough to fly the planes to their targets. This myth includes the belief that Hani Hanjour executed an impossible tight turn that would have stalled the engines of a commercial jetliner. This is false. Hani Hanjour did, in fact, demonstrate an inability to land an airplane on his own in Minnesota; then again, they weren’t exactly concerned about landing the planes, were they? The goal was to learn enough about flying to steer the planes into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the Capitol Building. It was the heroic actions of the passengers on Flight 93 that stopped that from happening. As for the supposedly “impossible” maneuver made by Hanjour on Flight 77, it was a tight turn, but they couldn’t say for sure exactly HOW tight. Moreover, the air traffic controllers never said it was impossible. They said it was unsafe, never that it was impossible.
The phone calls made from the flights by passengers and flight crew couldn’t have been made on cellular phones at that time, and therefore must have been faked. This is one of the most disgusting myths I’ve ever heard from the twoofers. The suggestion–begun by Dylan Avery on Loose Change–is that technology exists to make a call and sound exactly like someone else. Problem is, you have to have at least a 10-minute recording of the subject’s voice. To boot, the vast majority of the calls made were actually made from Airfones, NOT cell phones. It was also proven that in some areas, such as over sparsely-populated areas, the planes were in fact flying low enough for cell phones to make short calls. To suggest that any of the passengers or crew who died that day faked the whole thing is absolutely sickening and horribly disrespectful to the families in mourning.
Firefighters, police officers, and witnesses described the explosions that proved the World Trade Center was brought down by controlled demolition. I was living in Alabama once when we had to get ready for a bad storm; I was bringing in the dumpster so it wouldn’t fly away when lightning struck the ground directly behind me. It scared me out of my wits. I described it as a bomb going off at my back; that does not mean a bomb actually DID go off behind me. I was using simile to describe a traumatic event so that others could understand in some way what I’d experienced. How do you expect some of these people to describe the sound of a 110-story building starting to give way? I’d guess I’d likely describe it as an explosion.
Larry Silverstein, lease holder for WTC7, said “pull it” when fire commanders told him the building was likely to collapse. “Pull” is a common slang term used by demolition crews. No, actually, it is NOT commonly used by demolition crews. Silverstein wasn’t being asked if he wanted to keep fighting the fires, he was being TOLD that it was unsafe for the crews to remain in the building. He was simply agreeing that the fire crews should be pulled from the building.
Osama Bin Laden denied involvement in 9/11. OBL made a single statement to a European reporter to create confusion, and at that, the quote cannot be verified. In fact, Osama has openly admitted his involvement and praised the bravery of the hijackers. We have all of this on video tape. And the claims that it can’t be Osama because he’s seen eating with his right hand when, in reality, he’s left-handed? Muslim culture teaches all people to do everything with their right hand, as the devil supposedly uses his left.
I will blog tomorrow about why the “Truth Movement” is dangerous–and why I felt it necessary to post this series.

The only reason why 9/11Untruth is “dangerous” is that they block the evidence on 9/11 TV Fakery.
Watch “SEPTEMBER CLUES” and consider to upgrade your column before U.S. goes down forever and you can debate gay rights with Russia or China ;

I do not fight fires for a living. A fire captain will ask a property leaseholder or owner to keep fighting a fire? I thought a fire captain had to protect the firefighters and general public. What the captain says goes? Other higher ranking firefighters can over rule the captain. But a property owner?

Yes. My best friend is an architect and he knows quite a bit about structural engeering. But, structural engineering is not his field.
He gave his opinion on what the collapselooked and sounded like. Implosion was not a word he used.
Different person, different assessment due to a different background in life.
