Olbermann and MSM DESPERATE for Troopergate Sources

September 22, 2008 · 6 Comments

And I am not kidding.  Apparently this gal was on with Keith Olbermann to give her “concerned” and thoughtful opinion in the best interest of Alaskans, the rule of law, and the Constitution.  As this crackpot “investigation” begins to unfold with apparent members of investigators whom are less qualified than the lollipop guild, it begins to reveal itself as most liberal-endorsed investigations are, perfectly-timed spectacles of distracting hysteria.

Sarah Palin asked to be held accountable two months ago.  Now, suddenly, the incompetents in Alaska are wanting to conduct it now?  Is it any wonder?  Why it’s only a coincidence that Sarah Palin is on the campaign trail now, isn’t it?

This writer; Shannyn Moore, is an Alaskan and titles her blog “Painting a red-state BLUE, one stroke at a time” and basically copied and pasted an article she wrote for a really bad version of the Huffington Post called the Alaska Report.  Just gazing the front page sort of lets you in on where these folks stand politically.

This is it folks.  This is what the MSM and MSNBC considers credible and bi-partisan for news reporting.  I left the following comment on her web-blog (thanks Mel for the fabulous “anti-cop” line I borrowed) and it says it’s “awaiting moderation.”  Which is basically a nice way of saying that “a difference in opinion must be terminated.”  Enjoy:

Well, it seems her [Sarah Palin] popularity has managed quite well. The “publication” you write for also seems to be a less-beefed-up version of the Huffington Post to say the least.

Here’s what Americans perceive as an “investigation.” When Palin said to hold her accountable, I have a feeling she was under the impression that the investigators weren’t going to take almost two months to INVESTIGATE. Now suddenly, they want her back in Alaska now and want to drag it out over the next few weeks?

Is any American with a brain supposed to believe that it is sheer coincidence that the process of investigation is merely happening during the most crucial weeks of the campaign? Are we supposed to believe that these incompetent investigators show the desire at the same time Palin is bringing in droves of crowds where ever she goes with screams, goats, shouts, and cries of support hurling from tens of thousands of supporters at one time – at one rally?

Are we supposed to believe that a new commissioner is managing to keep his job even now that Wooten is still employed, yet Monegan was allegedly let go for the same reason?

Replace his tazered son with Rodney King or Sean Bell and miraculously liberal opinion would sway. Where’s all the anti-cop rhetoric when we need it?

The fact is Monegan could not control a budget and he’s a pompous hot-head using this newly acquired internet-fame to bolster his severly deflated girlish ego.

Prosecutors and “investigations” have been used for years to derail candidates loved by Americans. We saw it with Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald when he used Plamegate as an opportunity to drag out a tax-funded perjury trap for Scooter Libby even after it was revealed that Iraq-war opponent Richard Armitage was the one who revealed her name and even when it became apparent that Valerie Plame was not anymore covert than Obama is “really” black.

We saw it when it took liberal Ronnie Earle in Texas to empanel six grand juries in order to win an indictment against Tom Delay forcing him to step down as Majority Leader just within a year of the 2006 Congressional elections. Delay; like Palin was (and is) a politician Republicans loved and one who energized his base. It’s been over three years now and still no conviction.

We see it takes three years for a phony investigation and indictment of Delay. We saw it took almost a year for a phony perjury trap in the case of Plamegate.

Not anymore, liberals! Your wildcard that uses taxpayer money and candidate time to move forward with botched-partisan investigations to prevent Americans from getting to know a terrific person and from stopping America from moving forward has been played one too many times. It’s expired, it’s utterly apparent to Americans, and it’s never going to work anymore.

In a year where an election should have been handed to Democrats with absolutely no problems, this year will indeed serve as a national embarrassment to their party.

Take a bow liberals, we still need your hysteria and support for just 50 or so more days!

Staying in line with the Palin-smear campaign, Michelle Malkin – accompanied by other bloggers – have traced back varying disgusting youtube videos to a Democrat Public Relations Firm.

I’ve read the Jawa Report on the Ethan Winner/YouTube ad fracas, and while it’s nauseating, it’s not as shocking as I thought it would be. It doesn’t surprise me when coming from the loony left because if you browse Daily Kos, you’ll see them blogging about “doing whatever is necessary” to beat McCain/Palin this year.

That would include lying, cheating, backstabbing and breaking every FEC law on the books. If conservatives did it, we’d be tarred and feathered. But since it’s the libs…par for the course, I guess. We really are turning into Europe.

GAY CONSERVATIVE! You are SOOOOO wrong! This investigation has been held up because Palin STOPPED COOPERATING! You obviously don’t know Caribou Barbie or you wouldn’t defend her so much-especially when it comes to her stance on gay issues. Oh wait…you’re a gay CONSERVATIVE so I am sure you’re ok with keeping who you are in the closet-if you’re a Republican legislator then you are no doubt busy passing hypocritical anti-gay laws, while having sex in public bathrooms! Your Lipstick on John McCain’s pig has attended a church since childhood that believes gays can be cured of their “disease” with counseling.

Just before Palin took office in December of 2006, The legislature passed a bill that called for a non-binding, advisory ballot measure asking voters whether the state should adopt a constitutional amendment overturning the recent Alaska Supreme Court’s decision that the state must provide same sex domestic partner benefits.

On Dec. 20, 2006, in one of her first legislative acts, Palin signed that bill saying it would lay the groundwork for a state constitutional ban on the partner benefits. This vote cost the state $1.4 million dollars.

In the end, the vote failed to garnish the 66% required to amend the state consitution. It passed, but only by a margin of 53%-47%. It took the wind right out of the anti gay legislature’s sails.

So…before you post, why don’t you buy a clue. Tina Fey is more qualified and would make a better president than Sarah Palin.

    Kelly,

Palin cooperated initially and Hollis French and his stupid comments to the press put a stop to all of it. He even admitted himself that he should have not made the comments he made to the press. French turned this into a political spectacle, liberals turned this into a hacked “investigation” and now investigators who sat on their hands from the summer until now suddenly want to get serious about it in the final full month of the campaign?

Your knowledge of political process is obviously as pathetic as your knowledge of gay legislation.

To begin with, “anti-gay” legislation is non-existent.

And if “anti-marriage” for gays is your example, then perhaps you can check with liberal voters in California and Oregon that vote against it every chance they get. Check with Obama and see what he says about gay marriage, or Hillary, or John Edwards, or John Kerry.

Demonstrate one “pro-gay” law passed and endorsed by Democrats.

Your explanation of Palin’s “anti-gay” Bill is a lie. Here are the facts:

1.) In 1998, Alaskans voted overwhelmingly for a ban on gay marriage (long before Palin).

2.) In 2005, the Alaskan Supreme Court ruled that domestic partners of state employees were entitled to benefits.

3.) In response to the people, the Alaskan Senate tried passing an amendment, confirming the 1998 vote by Democracy to stop the Supreme Court’s Ruling from being implemented in 2006.

4.) WHEN THE BILL HIT PALIN’S DESK, SHE VETOED IT calling it “unconstitutional” to deny a ruling from the high court!

“”The Department of Law advised me that this bill… is unconstitutional given the recent court order… mandating same-sex benefits,” Palin said in a statement. “With that in mind, signing this bill would be in direct violation of my oath of office.” ”

SO YOU ARE LYING. YOU ARE SPINNING and no different from any other sourceless liberal.

Now, you can argue that Palin herself is against gay marriage – AS IS ANY MAINSTREAM DEMOCRAT. Palin went on in that statement to say that it was her intention to put the matter to a vote to Alaskans.

So your portrayal of her as a homophobic, anti-gay Republican is not going to work around here.

Bottom line: she did the right thing and treated the matter with utter fairness. She could have signed the Bill into legislation to begin with and SHE was the one who put the vote to the people that you boast was struck down.

She honored the decision and now all is well in the northern slopes of Gayville. If you ask me, this is only more reason to love her for her fairness and her integrity as a Governor.

As I stated, Americans are onto liberals, your tactics, your spinning, your B.S., opportunists like Monegan, and the historical facts of how liberals seem to want to move forward with investigations and indictments when it seems to be all too politically convenient.

The incompetant investigators were the ones who sat on it for two months. She endorsed it, she filed an ethics complaint AGAINST HERSELF to get it off the ground.

Sadly, she tried working with liberals.

But as McCain tried working with Obama tonight, we see how well it works.

When you come around, you have to use facts and source them. Spin around here won’t work and you’ll be stumped faster than you can blink.

By the way; the only difference between Denzel Washington and Barack Obama is that Denzel’s acting is actually believable.

  • Steve // September 25, 2008 at 1:19 am

Last but not least, I’d like to point out two more facts to you:

1.) By your own admission, Alaskans voted against a measure to block the court ruling. Keep in mind that Sarah has an 82% approval rating there and that Alaska is a red state.

2.) Arizona is 2004 rejected the ban on gay marriage, John McCain’s state, and a red state.

3.) California passed proposition 22 in 2000 where voters banned gay marriage while simultaneously voting for Al Gore.

4.) Oregon voted overwhelmingly in 2004 in another blue state to ban gay marriage where Bush lost.

Read those over and over again, Kelly. Then tell your uninformed little head the truth:

Gay marriage is NOT a party issue. It is a voter issue.

It seems to me in Palin and McCain states, the people are speaking with intelligence on the issue, which explains the pro-gay votes among people.

In blue states, the people are speaking with prejudice and hate showing the same sheer idiocy that you display here tonight on the issue of gay rights.

You don’t fool us. We know by fact what you and your liberal friends really think about us.

It seems like you; my dear, have the clue to buy.
