You know, a couple weeks after the election, a liberal friend said sarcastically, “now what are you neocons going to do!”
I smiled sweetly and said “not to worry, we’ll just sic Ann Coulter on ‘em.” Suddenly his two minutes of self-loving victorious glory turned glim.
Coulter’s new book is set to hit December 30, 2008 – right after the holidays and right before the inauguration. It exposes the usual “liberals are victims” vomit and reveals the truth in all of it. The Amazon description gives a little more detail and yes; B. Hussein Obama is a big part of it.
“Liberals seem to have hit upon a reverse Christ story as their belief system. He suffered and died for our sins; liberals make the rest of us suffer for sins we didn’t commit.”
Who are the victims here? To hear liberals tell it, you’d think they do nothing but suffer at the hands of ruthless entities like the “Republican Attack Machine” and Fox News.
Really?
It’s just another instance of the Big Lie, of course, told so often that some people have actually started to believe it. In Guilty, Ann Coulter explodes this myth to reveal that when it comes to bullying, no one outdoes the Left.
Citing case after case, ranging from the hilariously absurd to the shockingly vicious, Coulter dissects these so-called victims who are invariably the oppressors. For instance:
• Single mothers: Getting pregnant isn’t like catching the flu. There are volitional acts involved–someone else explain it to Dennis Kucinich. By this purposeful act, single mothers cause irreparable harm to other human beings–their own children–as countless studies on the subject make clear.
• The myth of the Republican Attack Machine: The most amazing thing liberals have done is create the myth of a compliant right-wing media with Republicans badgering baffled reporters into attacking Democrats. It’s so mad, it’s brilliant. It’s one kind of lie to say the Holocaust occurred when the Swedes killed the Jews. But it’s another kind of lie entirely to say the Holocaust occurred when the Jews killed the Nazis.
• “Brave” liberals: In addition to being beautiful, compassionate tribunes of the downtrodden, liberals are brave. I know that because they’re always telling me how brave they are. Why, five nights a week, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann courageously books guests who completely agree with him. It doesn’t get much braver than that.
• Obambi’s luck: While B. Hussein Obama piously condemned attacks on candidates’ families, his media and campaign surrogates ripped open the court-sealed divorce records of his two principal opponents in his Senate race in Illinois.
• The offenders are offended!: Republican senator George Allen’s career was destroyed when he made a joking remark to a privileged Indian American harassing him at campaign stops. When did rich kids become a new protected category that must be shielded from words that are insulting in other languages? How did Sidarth become a specially anointed victim? What did we ever do to India? And why didn’t we ever hear about the far more offensive anti-Semitic flyers of Allen’s opponent Jim Webb? One essential and recurring truth about self-righteous liberals, says Coulter, is that “they viciously attack all while wailing that they are the true victims.” With Guilty–a mordantly witty and shockingly specific catalog of offenses that liberals would rather we ignore and forget–Ann Coulter presents exhibits A through Z.
Coulter, the most gifted writer on the planet is at least on our side.

I can’t wait for this book. Woohoo!
Same here! I’d love to hear her speak in person. I catch her on YouTube after searching for videos of former Sen. Max Cleland trying to win ass kicking contests.
Ann Coulter is a bit rude for my taste, I prefer Laura Ingraham. But now you’ve tempted me and I’ve got to have Ann’s new book. *sigh*
Nissa, many people say that.
The reason I love Ann is mainly because she has the ability to take 10 different things about liberals that make me angry – all of them at once – and brilliantly articulate those feelings to the tee, in a way that it is effective, too.
Some say she’s a bully and just likes to fight. In any case, I’m glad she’s a Republican.
Steve, if the loony left ever comes up with their own version of Ann Coulter, a person who is able to convincingly argue their side without being hysterical (and make an honest point to boot), I will stop blogging forever.
I think I’m gonna be at this for a long time to come.
Oh god, lol
How desperately lonely are Republicans to think SHE is attractive lmfao
Then again these are the same people who glorify killing for pleasure and seek to expand the death penalty while thinking they’re somehow “pro-life”.
I look forward to this book being soundly debunked as have her other “brilliant” literary works
You guys have ur best-selling books, we’ll take the Senate, House, Presidency and majority of governorships. You take the President with the lowest approval in history, we’ll take the one with the highest incoming approval.
You guys take the one who lost the popular vote in 2000 all the while mocking Clinton just for failing to win a majority, we’ll take the guy who won the biggest landslide in twenty years.
In the past Tom you used to get angry at me when I laughed at you for proclaiming yourself a libertarian.
“We’ll take the Senate, House, Presidency, and majority of governorships.”
Doesn’t sound very libertarian to me.
Re-read your entire post. You’re just as insane as the leftist of the left. If it were up to you, all murdering criminals would be kept alive while all innocent babies were slaughtered during a late-term abortion.
Yes – I was right all along. There isn’t anything libertarian about you. You’re just a floater – going as far away from human values as possible, as far away from Christian virtue as possible, and as far away from human decency as possible.
What’s “progressive” about people who defend the slaughter of babies and decry the execution of hardened criminals?
The best-selling books prove the majority hold conservative values. The reason McCain lost is because he was a horrible conservative.
Moreover; all of her books have never been debunked. They have; however, sucessfully made a lot of liberals scream.
For the last eight years we have heard the intellectually-lacking phrases coming from the left about George Bush.
Well, for the next four you’re going to get a dose of Republicans so if I were you, I’d work a little harder at convincing folks of that “libertarian” title doing a little bit better than you just did.
Obama = Carter, Carter led to Reagan, and Obama will lead to a real conservative.
Well, Tom, Nasty Pelosi didn’t even crack the top 100 when her book hit the shelves. In fact, when it was put on amazon.com, she opened somewhere around 200 and never got any higher.
I looooove how you live in some fantasy world where Barkey won this election by such an enormous landslide! That’s so cute! I hate to remind you of reality, pal, but he won with 52%. That is exactly ONE percentage point higher than Bush in the 2004 election. There was no record turnout this year, sugar–a lot of previously unregistered voters did vote, but a large number of registered Republicans didn’t vote because they couldn’t plug their noses and vote for Juan McAmnesty.
We’ll see where Barkey is in a couple of years. My money is on his administration being in the same predicament as Jimmy Carter’s.
What are you smoking and can you send me some? You’re so funny.
Ann…..ack! Well, Steve, I can’t disagree with the teaser you posted. This book seems palatable. I might even check it out at the library if they have a copy. Or you can buy me one for Christmas…hehe.
“… but a large number of registered Republicans didn’t vote because they couldn’t plug their noses and vote for Juan McAmnesty. ”
So true. They stayed home in my county. I knew McCain faced a tough fight. But to roll over and surrender CA without a fight is disgusting.
I think people who don’t “get” Coulter, honestly believe she’s just a brashy big mouth. While she is very abrasive, it’s on purpose. She relishes the reactions she gets, and works it, with her tongue-in-cheek “cheekiness” (for lack of a better word). The more nerves she touches the better! And proof she’s spot on in her analysis/commentary.
