a lot of pyromaniac arsonists like to burn churches only because the way the fire burns around the steeple looks pretty and looks better then the fire from a normal building. It has nothing to do with religion just the different ways a building will burn depending on how it was built. So it could be that. However I would look for some form of political motivation behind this before I would go to the crazy pyro theory.

Well, arson investigators found the residue of an accelerant, so you can bet that it is arson. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it was militant gays, although I’m not willing to say definitively that it was because there’s no proof; it could have been any number of people. Americans have a love-hate relationship with Sarah Palin, unfortunately.

I heard on the radio a report that a Focus On The Family event was suppose to take place at the church in regards to gay marriage. It seemed like the insinuation was that militant gays may have done this. I really hope that that is not true and that it was not even arson. Of course, these people must realize that keeping Sarah Palin in the news is not of benefit to them.

I learned something about that idiot in Iraq…he’s a journalist who claimed either earlier this year or late last year to have been kidnapped. I say he claimed it because no evidence was found to support his claims. No ransom was ever demanded, his family and coworkers never contacted–he just disappeared for a couple of days and resurfaced. He said he’d been kidnapped, questioned, beaten unconscious and then released. I thought it smelled like a load of hooey then. He’s just tryin’ to get attention.
