I totally agree. As a gay Christian I find some well meaning Christians fall into two camps:

1. They love the sinners but hate their sins. So, you can be gay and Christian as long as you don’t have sex. Chastity is how you live your life.

2. You should not be gay and you can be fixed. For this lot, stopping the gay sexual behavior is the goal. Once that is stopped, you are no longer gay. Behavior defines you, not your inner being.

Sadly these two lots are set in their ways. I don’t see any quick fix to this. But, I don’t link the above to Fred Phelps and his clan. Ignorance drives these people far more than hate.

On another note, Obama gave a speech to misnamed Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The HRC should call itself the Hapless Rejects Clique because that is exactly what they are.

Obama promised to get rid of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DATA), overturn the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), and he bragged about sexual orientation being included in a Federal Hate Crimes bill. For this, he got a standing ovation.

But, regarding DADT and DOMA, this is exactly what he will do: NOTHING!!!

The Hapless Rejects Clique will cry, whine, moan, act pissy, blame and then run right back to the polls and vote Democrat across the board. They’ll pursade the gay masses to do the same.

This is how it goes. The Democrats promise, deliver zero, listen to us rant and then take our votes and do it again and again.

If the Hapless Rejects Clique had any sense of action then they’d tell all of us to not vote. If we stayed home and watched the Republican party take over, then and maybe then the Democrats would take notice. But, the fear of Republican junta is worse than empty promises from the Democrats.

The Democrats are smart in this area because they know they have us. They can abuse us over and over and we will keep coming back for more. They prop Toothless Gum Junker Barney Frank as our saint and we will gobble that up. Well, enough is enough.
