Just because your constituents want something does not mean they should have it. If a child had it his or her way that child would have candy and ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I sincerely doubt that. From what I understand, he represents one of the most democratic districts in the state, and possibly the country. And what exactly is wrong with doing what your constituents want you to do?
