I do agree there. There are many ways to fight back. My way of fighting back doesn’t involve the rather hateful and virulent tactics too many gay activists use.

I won’t deny someone who opposes gay rights their freedom of speech. I won’t engage in a witch hunt against people who support political issues I oppose. I won’t try to win my rights by being a part of an angry lynch mob.

Most of all, while I am not happy same sex marriage was voted down in my home state of California, I am not going to bitch about how unfair the process is and how awful the people who oppose same sex marriage behaved. If I really don’t like how it works in California then I am free to move to a different state. On many days including this one, I so wish unhappy Golden State Gays would get the hell out.

If you are gay/lesbian and you live in California, then love it baby or lump it. If you can’t lump it then pack up and get out. Go live in some other state and you’ll find things here in California are light years ahead of the rest of America.

The gay community as it is called only wants gays and lesbians who buy into the concept of Group Identity. You believe what the group believes. You support what the group supports. If you are really hard core, then you dress, talk, and engage in sexual expresion that conforms with the group identify even if such things are not your style. Never mind if what the group espouses is morally out of sync with what you stand for.

Conservative gays don’t splinter off. Rather, they were never welcomed to the fold in the first place. When a group of people don’t want you around then tell me how that is splintering off?
