Boycott the Boycott!

I don’t watch Glenn Beck’s program often. Maybe once a week, normally if I’m at the station; I’m usually reading the news from multiple outlets online when his program is on. I wasn’t watching the program he was a guest on July 28 when he said that Obama was a racist “with a deep-seated hatred for white people.”

There have been rumblings of a boycott led by colorofchange.org, a group founded by one of Obama’s cabinet members. Colorofchange has put pressure on several major companies to pull their advertising from Beck’s show. Now, at least twenty major companies have done exactly that. I have a comprehensive list of companies and products that need to hear our displeasure and feel it in their bank accounts.

Among them is my cell phone carrier: Sprint. I just finished writing them a letter demanding that they retract their insistence upon not advertising during Beck’s program within 30 days, lest I switch to Verizon or AT&T (you know, I HAD been thinking of getting an iPhone). The general reason with all of these companies is the same: they want to reach a “diverse” audience through programs that are “informed, inclusive and respectful.”

Is that so? Well, I have to ask–where was this concern when Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and other MSM talking heads were making sophomoric “teabagging” jokes while they “reported” on the Tea Party protests? Where was this concern during the Bush years, when these same people on the major news networks called Bush a racist, a homophobe, a Nazi, and anything else they could think of? Where is this concern when the MSM only gives us the facts about a news story that they want to give us, leaving FOX and the National Journal to sniff out the rest of it for us?

I had been thinking of switching to either Geico or Progressive for my auto insurance…no more. I won’t give them a nickel of my business. I had gone so far as to get quotes from both. That’s a shame, too, because the Progressive commercials with Flo are hilarious.

Clorox used to be a bleach product I bought all the time. Not anymore! Wal Mart also just lost my business for the same reason. Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club won’t get a dollar of my business for their part in this fiasco. I don’t care how low their prices are.

Cheese is by far one of my favorite foods; in Mel’s world, it’s a food group unto itself. Sargento got a lot of my business until now. I’ll go with anyone else now, because the privately-held company also pulled its ads from Beck. Their spokeswoman had this to say: “We market our products to people regardless of their political affiliations, yet we do not want to be associated with hateful speech used by either liberal or conservative television hosts.”

Really? Then say that to Keith Olbermann, who named Michelle Malkin one of the “worst people in the world” simply for her stance on illegal immigration, or Geraldo Rivera, who threatened to spit on her. Yank your ads from them, too, or shut up.

The real doozie, though, was Procter and Gamble. The giant company issued a statement that any advertising of its products was done entirely in error, and “we will try to be more careful in the future.”

Oh, boy. Here’s a list of the major products from P&G that you need to boycott:

-Febreeze air freshener
-Old Spice products
-Secret deodorants
-Charmin toilet paper
-Luvs and Pampers diapers
-Clearblue easy pregnancy tests
-all Pepto Bismol products
-Duracell batteries
-all Camay, Ivory, Oil of Olay, Safeguard and Zest soap products
-Cover Girl and MaxFactor beauty products (switch to Revlon!)
-Always and Tampax products
-Aussie, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essence, Infusium 23 and Pantene hair care products
-Clairol hair color products
-Align, Braun, Crest, Scope, and Oral-B oral care
-Fibersure and Metamucil
-Prilosec antacid medication
-Pur water filters
-Vicks healthcare (cough drops, vapo-rub)
-Bounty and Mr. Clean household cleaners
-Swiffer (I’ll do with my old broom just fine)
-Bounce, Cheer, Downy, Dreft, Era, Gain, Ivory and Tide laundry detergents
-Eukanuba and Iams pet foods (I can switch to Science Diet)
-Actonel, Asacol, Didronel, Enablex, Macrobid and Microdantin prescription medications
-Braun and Gillette shaving products
-Pringles snacks
Last but not least, the following fragrances are manufactured by P&G:
-Baldessarini, Boss, Bruno Banani, Escada, Ghost, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Hugo, Lacoste, Naomi Campbell and PUMA.

Don’t just avoid these products. Write P&G an email expressing your distaste for their willingness to aid and abet censorship. I already have. Be sure to be absolutely professional when writing. NO AD HOMINEMS.

If you currently do business with any of the companies listed, contact them and request that they withdraw their support from colorofchange and back it up with a promise to switch to a competitor. If these companies are going to allow hate speech directed at conservatives and speak up only when liberals draw our ire, they need to understand that we will not tolerate it.

To be fair, several of these companies have said they haven’t pulled all advertising from FOX. Most of them have stated that they simply gave the command that their advertising not be run during Beck’s program. I take issue with it regardless, though, as should we all. It won’t stop here; once colorofchange gets advertisers to boycott Beck, they’ll move on to Hannity, O’Reilly, and eventually all FOX programming. If they were advertising during a KKK-supportive show, I might be able to understand it. We should not allow this to continue, because it will result in the bullying of all pundits deemed too conservative by the loudest minority in the world: liberals.

The Hate Speech of Liberalism

I know I promised to post my blog about “who’s the real Nazi” yesterday, but I ended up getting tied up and this, I think, requires attention more urgently.

I just had someone send me a message over Facebook telling me to “listen to 1480 AM to deprogram” myself. I told him that, in fact, I HAVE listened to the local Air America network on occasion (which is significant, because I don’t listen to any radio programming very often). The writer did not respond–I don’t think he could handle the fact that I do actually listen to multiple points of view before I make my choice on what I believe about an issue and still tend to come out on the conservative side of things even though I’m a lesbian.

I really don’t think he could take that. What? You’re a lesbian and you say you think for yourself, but you’re politically conservative? Blasphemy! That’s like a cow trying to call itself a butcher! A Jew calling himself a Nazi! A black man calling himself the supreme grand dragon of the KKK!

I’ve had so many people try to shove down my throat the view that if I am gay, I am supposed to be liberal. That’s just the way it is, right? Because all of those conservatives, all of those folks who vote Republican, are hatemongers, right?

I have a particular string of expletives tickling the tips of my fingers, but Steve will have apoplexy if I let them out. I don’t know how I managed to miss this–it happened just last week–but Mike Malloy, a favorite on liberal talk radio, was caught on air wishing for Glen Beck to commit suicide. Not only did he wish for Beck’s death, he wished for him to do it on camera, live, for the whole world to see.

And conservatives are the hatemongers? Tell me, folks, how often have you ever heard Limbaugh, or Coulter, or Malkin, or Bruce, or Hannity, or any other conservative pundit say something so vile? Listen for yourself:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNHuXU8nQ7M]

I can’t say I’m speechless, because as you can tell, I’m not. I’m not sure how I feel about this, though. Obviously I’m horrified. I cannot believe that any person, regardless of political affiliation or ideal, would actually say this and mean it. Malloy did mean it. And the fact that the liberal news media has patently ignored it tells me that they don’t care. When Don Imus made his “nappy-headed hoes” crack, he was wrong, and was correctly taken to task for it. But where’s the justice for Malloy’s outrageous remarks?

Of course…there will be none. He’s justified in saying it, isn’t he? I mean, those conservatives are just so…hateful!

Mr. Malloy, I just lost my best friend to suicide on June 13. His ex-wife was probably happy about it because she got what she wanted: sole custody of their son. But I knew my friend to be a giving, loving, empathetic man who cared about the world around him. On Christmas one year I watched him buy smokes and beers for a group of homeless vets that he saw regularly near I-17 and Camelback, then tell them to use the money they’d gotten that day to get some food. There were plenty of things we disagreed on, but we agreed to disagree. I saw the nature God had given him and it was beautiful.

That you can make such a callous, careless remark tells me that you have never survived losing someone you love to suicide. You’ve never had a person you once loved blame you for their death, nor have you ever asked yourself what you could have done to make their lives seem more livable. No matter how much I may dislike a person, I would never, EVER, wish for them to commit suicide because every person–no matter how bad they may be in my estimation–has several others who love them and would be in hell under such circumstances. Having nearly succeeded in killing myself some six years ago, I understand that deep, dark hole my friend was in. And I am appalled that not a single liberal in America has come out and tried to give you the castigation that you rightly deserve.

With the hate speech of liberalism so thinly veiled (if at all), I am once again flabbergasted that so many point the finger at me and tell me that I’m a hypocrite for being a gay conservative. I’m the extremist. I’m the hatemonger.

If you want to know where the hate lies, take a good, long look in the mirror.

UPDATE: for those who might argue that Malloy didn’t really mean it, here’s his renewed call for Beck to commit suicide just two days after his original remarks:

Shannyn Moore: The Liberals’ “Hero”

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTWSrkYDqco]

It’s okay to be a hero.  Being a hero gives one a sense of honor.  Along with honor comes compassion, decency, and respect.  Not just respect for ourselves, but also respect for others around us.  Being a hero commands an essence of fairness and requires an understanding of truth and facts before taking action.

Did anyone ever see an episode of Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman where either one of the three captured or brought down someone without using their super powers to gain the absolute truth about one of their bad guys before taking action?  If so, I’d like to see them.  Then again, those shows had plots which were written decades ago – back when someone like Shannyn Moore would be forced to pay dire consequences for her irresponsiblity and her candid apparent starve for attention regardless of the cost to others.

Shannyn Moore “reported rumors.”  This is her defense.  And its this defense that has readers of the Bluffington Post declaring “Shannyn is a hero in my book.”

If that book had a title, I wonder what it would be.  The Adventures of the Rumor-Reporting Alaskan?

Shannyn Moore; on her webpage, led others to believe (or in her words: “reported rumors”) that Sarah Palin may be under federal investigation.  Immediately, the FBI answered and said such rumors were absolutely false.  Did Shannyn Moore apologize?  No, she gave a speech in front of Sarah Palin’s office portraying HERSELF as the victim and Palin as the “bully” and “coward.”

If indeed Shannyn Moore was not a guest on MSNBC or never wrote blather that winds up on the Bluffington Post or in “articles” that pop up on internet search engines when one selects “news”, I wouldn’t be complaining.  But, this is someone Keith Olbermann (I know, just go with me for a minute) uses as a reference and has as a guest on his show whenever they want to report another ethics probe-canard against Sarah Palin.

Everyone of them (18 in one year) were won by Sarah Palin in which they found nothing wrong.  Even though Alaskans footed the bill for the legal fees and even though Sarah Palin had to pay in the neighborhood of $600K out of her own pocket to cater to these lunatics everytime MSNBC wanted to throw a worm to Shannyn Moore for more gossip on the soon-to-be ex-governor.

After Palin announced her resignation, it was brought to Palin’s attention that this woman was contributing to the spread of these false rumors.  The response from Palin’s attorney is stated below in another post addressing Ms. Moore directly.

Now, this woman is going on Keith Olbermann’s show AGAIN tonight to talk about this issue.  In the video above, it is astonishing how this woman – this scumbag and sorry excuse for someone who could possibly report ANYTHING – and be used by a “news” organization like MSNBC, can state the First Amendment as defense in her response to Sarah Palin.  How about an apology?

The audacity one must have to claim being a victim and to be bullied by Palin when indeed it was this woman who helped bring many of these bogus ethics charges against Palin is off the charts.

JohnInCa sent an article in a previous forum stating that if Sarah Palin decides to follow through with her plans to sue someone like Shannyn Moore, that it could cost Moore thousands of dollars…..she deserves it…..and it needs to be immediately known that not only does this woman continue to hold her head high after stooping so low for attention, but that MSNBC and others in the media will continue to use her as a credible guest on their programs.

Any liberal that shows up, I challenge you to look through every post on this blog and find one false rumor peddled about any liberal politican as if it were fact.

Never.

This woman needs to grow up and deserves the legal beating of her life.

Pointing the Finger

Yesterday morning, Scott Roeder walked into a church in Kansas and shot Dr. George Tiller to death. Tiller was well-known for being one of only three doctors in the entire country who provides late-term abortions (abortions performed after a fetus reaches 21 weeks). I’d heard of Tiller many times on the news and thought what he did was ghastly, but never would I have ever thought it justified to kill him. I still don’t think he should have been murdered.

A quick summation of my views on abortion: I am mostly pro-life except for my belief that morning-after pills are acceptable in cases of rape. I believe that once a fetus forms a brain and a beating heart it is a child, and terminating that child is murder. In particular I believe that late-term abortions are a heinous crime that never should have been legalized, as it has been proven that late-term babies are capable of understanding that their life is in danger (the belief that it’s a reflexive action to try to escape an abortion doctor’s suction tool does not negate that fact). I believe that this sort of abortion is little more than society’s way of absolving us of accepting responsibility for our actions, because we all know that a very likely consequence of having sex is pregnancy–and a woman’s right to choose can be exercised before it gets to the point that she decides she doesn’t want this child to ruin her life.

That said, I still wholeheartedly condemn Scott Roeder’s actions. The law expressly forbids vigilantism. Taking the law into your own hands and meting out justice as you see it is every bit as illegal as the original crime, and with good reason. If vigilantism were legal innocent people would routinely be targeted. But in no way does any fact justify Dr. Tiller’s murder. My heart goes out to his family.

Now, liberals, you have a prime example of a conservative condemning this action. I have read countless comments on multiple blogs from liberals who have already tried and condemned all Christians and conservatives for Dr. Tiller’s murder. It is a crime to do so this quickly, every bit as it was a crime for Roeder to pick up a gun and pull the trigger in a church to take vengeance in his own way. By pinning this on all of us is as hypocritical as you claim we are. You scream for tolerance, yet you cannot tolerate our beliefs. The crime scene hadn’t even been fully processed before you were all pointing the finger at us for this crime. Within hours, a reader named Dave posted a comment on my post Stop the “Christian Taliban?”:

“When christchuckers continue to kill gynecologists and fertility doctors; then celebrate that murder; while condemning their own gay sons and daughters they will be referred to as the Christian Taliban. If you don’t like it, get the f*** out of my country and move to Saudi Arabia.”

I have a major problem with this. First of all, the last time an ABORTION doctor (note, they are not gynecologists or “fertility doctors”) was murdered was 1998. That was eleven years ago. Right now, liberals are talking about this as if it happens all the time, and it’s simply not true, so please stop that angle. Second, not one sane Christian in this country has celebrated any of the acts that have ever been committed against abortion doctors; it is only the fringe groups who badly misquote and take the bible completely out of context who attempt to use their religion to justify their actions. Just because a handful do that does not mean that I’m at fault for their stupidity. Finally, not one person has been able to give a single accurate reason for labelling Christians the Taliban, because Christians in America don’t beat and execute women for being caught without a male escort in public. Don’t preach at us about extremism when that is the tactic you’re using to discredit us.

This incident has already proven my point about emotion vs. reason. A reasonable, rational person is capable of stopping before reacting and thinking about what would and wouldn’t be appropriate. Liberals, for the most part, react to everything based on an emotional gut reaction and they speak and act before they even try to think about the insinuations they’re making. We wonder why we aren’t getting anything done, well, here’s the reason, staring us dead in the face: too many are too unwilling to see anything from the other side’s perspective before they write the other guy off. Like it or not, libs, it’s usually YOU refusing to talk to US. You’ve just proven that.

If you really want to get the ball rolling to being a more tolerant society, stop pointing the finger at someone else and take a long look in the mirror. If we take little else away from Dr. Tiller’s murder we can at least learn that lesson.

Coulter-Stalking Liberal Screams “Help Me!” During Arrest

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w3bWHOdCA8]

If you ever wanted an example as to why women who marry conservative men have better and more orgasms, this video is all you’ll ever need to see.

Reports from various sources reveal that Mike Tracey; student at The College of New Jersey AND vice-President of the College Democrats stormed the stage that Ann Coulter was standing on during a speech more than a couple of times and was repeatedly warned by campus security.

Of course, he had to test the waters a final time and was removed from the speech and arrested.  The video; only 38 seconds long, shows no police brutality whatsoever and also explains the liberal way of turning virtually ANYTHING into “torture.”

Reports also indicate that the parents of this ninny are pissed and are fighting to get the charges removed.

Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you one of the future William Ayers of the world.

Sarah Palin: Bringing Out More Liberal Hypocrisy (Update!)

Palin hasn’t even been the VP selection for a week yet and already she is bringing out the worst in liberal hypocrisy.

First, in less than a week, US Weekly gives us more of that big-corporate-loving and Republican controlled media we laughably hear about from the Democrats.  I am only surprised they showed such a nice picture of her holding her baby.

What’s really laughable though is what they are claiming are “scandals.”  Why is having a 17-year old daughter that is pregnant considered a scandal?  Since when do liberals care about sexual responsibility among teens?  Of course it’s a less-than-fortunate instance.  Palin’s daughter and boyfriend; however, are doing a very un-liberal thing.  They are having the baby, getting married, and putting the baby first before their “dreams,” living out their individuality by having various experimental sex partners, having drinking binges, and living empty lives until they’re about 30 where even then, marriage and family would still be discouraged.

In fact, if Palin was a liberal and pro-choice, we’d hear oodles of love and support if the daughter had an abortion.  Palin would be a hero, the boy would move on with no sense of responsibility, and lord knows what would happen to the poor girl.

Their second bullet point shocks us all by talking about an incident of her brother-in-law being fired.  What they don’t put on the cover is that Palin immediately encouraged all to examine whatever records they wanted and ask all the questions they wanted to whomever, whenever they wanted.

The third bullet point takes the cake: “Mom of five.”

Boy liberals really do hate life.  Unless of course it’s the life of a polar bear, a terrorist held at Guantanamo, or a serial killer on death row.

To really think there are a group of people in the world who thinks the world would be a better place if Palin chose to abort her special-needs child, launch a campaign to save polar bears, and lose sleep at night over hardened criminals on death row.

Then of course, there is Tom Daschle.  Who in 2000 had this conversation about John Edwards when asked by Tim Russert what he thought of the fact that Edwards had nothing but 17 months of experience in the Senate:

MR. RUSSERT: But, Senator, Ronald Reagan was governor for eight years, Bill Clinton governor for eight years, George W.
Bush governor for five years. Mr. Edwards was a trial lawyer, a personal injury lawyer before 17 months in the Senate. Is that
adequate preparation?

SEN. DASCHLE: Well, Tim, I think it’s the life experiences you bring to the job. I don’t know of anybody that has a broader
array of life experiences than John Edwards. He has been a success story. He has gone through his own personal trials. He has come
to the Senate and, right from the start, taken on leadership roles. He has demonstrated his capacity for leadership in ways that I haven’t
seen before. It’s really remarkable what he’s been able to do in a very short period of time. He’s demonstrated to me his capacity to
take on responsibility. He’ll do that again should he be the nominee. I have no doubt about that.

Just a couple days ago; however, Daschle told Wolf Blitzer that McCain’s selection of Palin was “inexplicable.”

It’s not even been a week, folks.  The media and the Democrats are going bonkers and are lowering themselves to the bottom of the trash can now for ideas.

Way to go, Sarah!  Bush had to piss liberals off for a good six weeks before getting attention this good!

*****************Update****************

Please visit Michelle Malkin’s Website to read an update on this story.  Michelle retrieved a separate US Weekly magazine photo on Obama an places it side-by-side with the cover of Palin.  The magazine seems to give a much more friendly review of Mr. & Mrs. Obama.  Also, Malkin reports that the magazine has lost anywhere from the range of 5,000 to 10,000 subscribers, though the magazine denies it.  Perhaps Oprah may be interested in investing because it seems like the magazine may be needing it very soon!  Great to see these disgusting displays of “journalism” forced to start feeling the brunt of their idiocy first hand!

Escaping the Sean “Bell” Jar

Since the judge’s decision this morning to rightfully acquit the officers who shot Sean Bell, I have been anticipating all of the left-wingers running out (particularly those who are supporting Obama) and playing the race card.  Much like the death of Jerry Falwell where his name always followed “whether you agreed with him or not” we hear the same regurgitated prelude to the point of Bell’s death: “Just before he was married, Sean Bell was tragically killed by a round of 50 bullets.”

It’s a fact that Bell and his two friends were having a bachelor party the night of the shooting.  It’s a fact that witnesses heard his thug-friend; Joseph Guzman yell “yo, get my gun!”  It’s a fact that Sean Bell had been arrested previously for crack-cocaine possession.  It’s a fact that Guzman and Trent Benefield (the other thug-friend) had been arrested “nine and three times, respectively” and each having at least one of them for illegal possession of firearms.  (Where are the gun-control liberals, incidentally?)

It’s a fact that Bell and his friends refused to obey police orders and “freeze” choosing to speed off while incredibly intoxicated plowing into a police vehicle in pursuit of their getaway.

It’s a fact that unto approaching the car of thugs, police testify that Guzman made a gesture that led them to believe he was reaching for a gun.

Now, let’s throw all those facts out the window.

Let’s recharacterize “after getting trashed and flirting with prostitutes, yelling “yo, get my gun!”, disobeying police orders to “freeze”, violently driving into a police vehicle while grossly intoxicated, and making a phony gesture which led police to believe Guzman was reaching for a gun, police shot Sean Bell which tragically ended his life” to “police shot and killed Sean Bell 50 times the day before his wedding.”

To all the race-card playing, Obama-supporting, Reverend Wright-Al Sharpton imitating liberals of the world, escape the “Bell” jar already.

Rather than suing the NYPD, Bell’s family should bring a civil suit against Joseph Guzman and may want to raise the rest of their children to avoid selling crack-cocaine and hanging around gun-toting criminals.

Art and Murder

I’m once again in a quandry as a conservative who strongly advocates free speech.  I don’t know where to start or end on this one.  The article speaks for itself.

A Yale student who claims she artificially inseminated herself “as often as possible” and then took drugs to induce miscarriages for her senior art project says she will showcase the stomach-turning display next week — complete with her own blood samples and videos from the terminated possible pregnancies….

Videos taken of what the college student says were self-induced abortions in her bathtub will be projected both on the cube’s sides and on the gallery walls.

The exhibit will be on public display from April 22 to May 1 at Yale’s Holcombe T. Green Jr. Hall. Shvarts will be honored at a reception April 25.

What can you say about that?  It’s thoroughly disgusting, repulsive and obscene.  But it’s also perfectly legal.  I was impressed by the outcry against the exhibit.

The abortion-rights group NARAL Pro-Choice America also condemned the exhibit.

This ‘project’ is offensive and insensitive to the women who have suffered the heartbreak of miscarriage,” NARAL’s communication director Ted Miller said in a statement.

And from the medical side…

But ob-gyn Dr. Manuel Alvarez, FOXNews.com’s health managing editor, said the young woman should have been worried because what she was doing was extremely unsafe.

“It’s quite dangerous,” Alvarez said. “She was playing Russian roulette with her life, if she indeed did this to these unborn children for the sake of art. I don’t even have the words to express the disbelief that I have.”

I just don’t know where it ends.  Things like this sometimes make me believe that society is truly sick.  Wanda Franz of the National Right to Life Committee puts it into perspective.

Franz likened Shvarts’ process of artificial insemination and induced miscarriages to the human experimentation that took place during the Holocaust. She said the Yale senior’s work highlights a stark truth about American society’s approach to abortion.

“She really has hit on a reality that what she has done is legal,” Franz said. “Anything she chooses to do here can’t be stopped in terms of legality. And there are people fighting for her right to do this.”

And that’s the rub of it.  Because our courts have determined, erroneously, that killing an unborn child is legal, Shvarts is fully within her rights to undertake such a disgusting project.  It is a project that trivializes life and flaunts the right to murder that was established by activist judges in Roe v. Wade.

While I will not call for the removal of this exhibit or exhort others to terrorize this sick woman, I will use this as a call for November.  Activist judges, the kind that Obama and Hillary would appoint, make this garbage possible.  We cannot and should not let this happen. This should be a stark reminder of the issues that are at stake this November.  I cannot think of a better reason to reject the liberal malignancy that infests Washington and return the power to people who reject this sordid moral decay.

UPDATE:  There are now conflicting reports about the project.  The Yale administration and faculty now say that Shvarts’ project was a hoax, citing a conversation they had with her previously.  Now Shvarts has retorted that the project is indeed real.  You can read the update.  In any case, it’s still sickeneing.

Debate Fraud

I’ll be the first to admit, I missed last night’s YouTube-format GOP Presidential debate on CNN.  In retrospect, it was probably a good thing.  Reading the recaps of the debate, it would have been as much a waste of my time as it was a waste of time for the GOP candidates themselves.  I received one of the action alert emails from RedState.com Editor, Erick Erickson, that was sent out to all RedState.com subscribers.

Dear RedState Reader:

RedState is calling for CNN to fire Sam Feist, their political director; and David Bohrman, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of the debate.

During last night’s debate, which CNN billed as “a Republican debate, and the goal was to let Republican voters see their candidates,” CNN either knowingly or incompetently allowed hardcore left wing activists to plant questions and Anderson Cooper willingly gave one of those activists a soapbox so he could harass the Republican candidates about military policy.

Simple googling would have revealed these left wing activists.

Had CNN done its homework, this would not have happened.  They either willfully let it happen, or incompetently bungled it.  Either way, heads should roll.

Likewise, we hope one or more of the GOP Presidential candidates will call for a do-over debate on substantive policy issues.

You can read our Directors post here.

You might want to take a moment to read the RedState directors’ call to action concerning the debate.  CNN showed their bias by allowing Dem plants to pose questions to the candidates.  RedState allows for the possibility that this may have merely been incompetency, but knowing CNN and their agenda, I find that highly doubtful.

I find it ironic that the Dems submarined a planned debate co-sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus on Fox News because they were either scared of potential hardball questions or because of their hatred of Fox News.  Yet the GOP willingly participated in the CNN debates despite CNN’s track record as a mouthpiece for Democrats and liberal activists.

I don’t watch CNN on TV or read any of their “expert analysis” online.  I mainly check out their website for news stories.  I will likely continue to do so, but I also don’t think it would be a bad idea to hold someone accountable for allowing Dem activists a platform at a debate that was supposed to serve as an educational forum for GOP voters in the primaries.  Just like CBS and Rathergate, CNN has now painted a clearer picture when it comes to their political and social agenda.  I’m just sorry that more Americans can’t see through this crap.

Newsflash! Democrats make a lot of noise….but will they ever make a point?

Terrorist leaders and Iranian leaders get more welcome and warmth at Universities.  This is another attack on the Minutemen — this time at Michigan State University.
